Workshop and ERROR models
Why a weapon is an error cube, and how the collection fixes it.
What the server sends
On connect, GMod downloads the server FastDL / Workshop addons. The first time can take several minutes. Loading is not a freeze: let it run.
The pink and black ERROR cube
The model is not on your disk. Common causes: collection not subscribed, download not finished, addon disabled in the Addons menu, or missing Source content (CS:S) for some props.
Fix: open the Elipcee collection, click Subscribe to all, fully restart Garry's Mod, reconnect.
Double weapon HUD
With an ARC9, the default GMod crosshair is hidden on purpose. If you see two HUDs, you have an extra client addon: disable personal weapon packs that are not the server’s.
